Setting Up A Healing Circle
Setting Up A Quantum-Touch Healing Circle
(this article is currently a work in progess)
When setting up your circle it is important to be true to yourself and those that are forming the "core" group of attendees. First you need to look at why you are forming a healing circle and what you expect to accomplish. Make a plan! There is a reason that you are thinking of having a healing circle. Be clear of your intent. Make a plan. There is no right or wrong here in what you decide to do.
- Some Questions to ask are:
Where, when and how often will we hold the Healing Circle?
How many people do we expect to come? (Max/ Min number)
Will this be an open or closed circle?
What is the agenda?
What do we/I expect to accomplish with the Circle?
What modalities will be used during the Healing Circle?
Will we charge a set amount or take donations?
Who will set up the space, run the event and clean up?
Challenges or Lessons Learned
Keeping Up the Juice: Healing Circles are easy to start but not always easy to keep going. When I started my first Quantum-Touch Healing Circle I contacted every other circle that was out there and learned a lot.
So.... here is advice from those who were and are running QT healing circles....
- Be realistic in the numbers and expectations of your circle
- Find a good location – parking and accessibility are important
- Keep a reminder going out either by a phone ladder or emails
- Pull together a core group of people who can “host” the circle so that one person is not holding all the responsibility.
- Schedule the circle on a regular basis so that people can plan around coming
- Clear the energy of the space and the room before people arrive
